engine that delivers 165 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and produces 166 pounds-per-foot
of torque at 4,000 rpm. The new Subaru Baja also boasts sequential multi-port
fuel injection, distributorless electronic ignition, and the patented
Engine Control Module, which manages fuel injection and ignition systems,
and features learning, self-diagnosis, limp home and antiknock capabilities.
The 2008
Subaru Baja features a fully independent, heavy-duty raised type suspension
with coil springs and struts, and four-wheel antilock brakes.
